Unleash Your Running Potential with Shokz OpenRun Headphones – The Ultimate Device for Peace of Mind

I once lost my AirPods while running. Being a speed demon comes with risks. Not only will you get hurt, but you’ll also lose about $50 worth of small devices (or more accurately, your $100 Apple earbuds will become unusable. Thankfully, you can keep one). (Purchase a replacement AirPod). On a recent run, I completed three miles around Central Park in an attempt to find him, to no avail. I am still recovering from that experience and ultimately ended up giving in and buying back the technology that had been suppressed. what can I say? I’m weak! Finally, while I still love Apple’s signature earbuds for sexy girl walks, travel, and work, they seem to be no good for sweaty, high-speed runs. So what’s a girl to do who needs music while training for a half marathon?

For me, running in silence (or in the noise of the city, without a cocoon of music) is actually torture. I think it’s very difficult to run a scary distance without hearing a mix of disco and industrial house music. . I also noticed that my pace slowed down a lot without some good jumps. That’s where I draw the line. Apple can take my $50, but I won’t let them take away my hard-earned speed.

So I decided to look for earphones or headphones that I could wear while running and still provide high quality audio without the risk of them flying off my head and never being found again. Luckily, I hit the jackpot when I discovered the Shokz OpenRun headphones.

I
had already heard a lot about these headphones on TikTok. Are you really surprised? #RunTok always affects me, so while I was mourning the loss of my AirPods, I was also looking for a replacement. A large cult following has decided that Shokz is a winner due to its unique fit and sound quality that allows you to hear the outside world. With an average of 4.6 stars on Amazon and over 23,000 reviews, it wasn’t bad either. One reviewer wrote, “These headphones have truly changed the way I experience music and stay connected during my workouts.” “The combination of excellent sound quality, comfort, durability and long battery life makes these headphones the first choice for fitness enthusiasts and those who value both music and activity safety.”

Still, there are many features that make these headphones completely unique, from their unusual futuristic look to their vibration technology. Here’s how these work and how they performed when I got a pair. What are Shokz OpenRun headphones? These headphones are very different from regular earbuds. Unlike AirPods, which float freely in your ear and stay in place based on their ergonomic shape, these have a bone-like structure that wraps around the back of your head for a secure fit. But what’s really unique is that the speakers aren’t placed in or above your ear canal. It uses vibrations to transmit sound through the cheekbones to the inner ear. It completely covers your ears, so you can keep an eye on your surroundings. It comes in two sizes, regular and mini, to accommodate a variety of head sizes.

These Bluetooth headphones are perfect for sports and can withstand most wet weather conditions (except swimming) thanks to their waterproof material. There’s also an innovative moisture detection alarm for safe charging. When fully charged, you can listen to music or make calls for 8 hours. However, if you’re in a hurry or need to get a workout in, a quick 10-minute charge will give you an hour and a half of battery life.

First impression
I
have never used bone structure headphones. The first time I saw them up close, I honestly thought they would fly off my head while I was running. It looks weird and resembles some kind of futuristic accessory you might find on SSENSE. Still, I’m all for making a fashion statement during strenuous activities, as long as these bad guys stay in place.

The controls are a little confusing at first, so pay attention to the instructions when you first start it up. On the left side are buttons to control calls and music. Play or pause music, answer or hang up calls with just one touch. Press twice to display the next song in the playlist, press three times to return to the previous song. There is a volume control on the right side near the charging port, which can also be used to accept or reject calls. To turn it on/off, press the volume up button for a few seconds. Once you’ve memorized these instructions, get ready to sweep the streets and outrun the slow joggers.

My Experience
At
first I was intimidated by the design, but in the past few months since I started using it, I have never had it fall off while driving. A lightweight bone frame sits just below the ear, and the buds hang over the ear. It’s very comfortable and the big advantage is that you don’t have to worry about a lot of earwax building up (I know it’s gross, but it’s true).

The sound was great, which surprised me since they are designed for open ears. You can hear all the sounds around you without completely disconnecting from the world. This is critical to the safety of New York City. My music was crisp and clear, but even at maximum volume it might have been a bit loud for my club loud preferences. While a safe option for outdoor exercise, these may not be the best choice for those who must avoid music completely while running (perhaps needing something with noise-canceling capabilities). Still, the sound quality is good, and the vibration technology isn’t intrusive or physically jarring. You’ll even forget you’re wearing it.

Plus, you almost never need to charge it. This is probably also because at the moment he rarely runs longer than an hour. I don’t run every day either. I charge the pair about every two weeks, but your situation may vary
